Deconstructing The Misconceptions About MMM 2

Image
Deconstructing The Misconceptions About MMM 2 In bringing this article to conclusion, I will like to take the public back to the memory lane. The essence of going back to history here is to remind ourselves that part of what is happening in the global financial system coupled with the arrival of many alternatives was long predicted by the founder of MMM. He made his predictions before bitcoin became tradeable. Later the appearance and rise of cryptocurrency market proved that all the predictions were accurate. Precisely, in 2011, Mr. Mavrodi founder of MMM worldwide, proclaimed some points of upcoming financial revolution across the globe. Many folks dismissed his ideas. Alas, a lot of those proclamations are coming to reality now. It is important we go back to some of the points he made then in this discourse. Mavrodi, in his wisdom, did say then that financial guarantees are just a pretext to impose a control over people. And people naturally do not want to be controlled....

WIZKID BRAG AFRIMA AWARDS

Image
AFRIMA 2017: Wizkid defeats Davido, Tekno , Runtown Star Boy, Wizkid, was the biggest winner at the All Africa Music Awards held on Sunday night at the Eko Convention Centre, Lagos. The pop star clinched three major awards: Best West African Artiste award, The Song of the Year and the Artiste of the year, trumping the likes of Davido, Runtown, Tekno and others. Wizkid’s win came shortly after Davido edged him out at the 2017 MTV EMA by winning the “Best African Act”. Wizkid’s big win has once again renewed his long-standing battle for supremacy with Davido. In his acceptance speech, the Ojuelegba crooner thanked 2baba and DJ Jimmy Jatt for their contributions to the African music landscape. As expected, Wizkid arrived late and his entry sent the sold-out crowd into frenzy. While some jostled to take a selfie with him, others stood up to catch a glimpse of him. His bouncers had a hard time trying to prevent the crowd from mobbing him. This time, he did not rain down Na...

MIKEL FINALLY REVEALS HOW HE GOT SIGNED BY CHELSEA

Image
Mikel Finally Reveals Why Manchester United, Chelsea ‘Fought’ Over His Transfer Super Eagles and Tianjin TEDA midfielder, John Obi Mikel, has finally revealed what really happened when he signed for both Manchester United and Chelsea over ten years ago. The Nigerian was photographed in a Red Devils shirt at his press conference unveiling, but never went on to play for the club. After impressing for Nigeria at the FIFA Under-17 World Cup, Mikel earned a trial at Manchester United, as reported in The Sun. Still in school, Mikel left his family to go overseas and trained with United’s first team. So impressed by the teenager’s talent, Roy Keane and Paul Scholes told Sir Alex Ferguson that he must sign John Obi Mikel. A month’s trial was followed by another three weeks at Carrington. One agent even approached the Nigerian with a briefcase full of cash – £53,000 to be exact – promising that and more if he signed then and there. Desperate to get his man, Alex Ferguson...

RELYING ON CERTIFICATE ALONE MAY FAIL YOU

Image
‘Don’t Rely On Your Certificate Alone To Succeed In Life’- VP Osinbajo Tells Youths Nigeria’s Vice President, Yemi Osinbajo, has charged Nigerian youths never to rely on their academic certificate alone to survive. Osinbajo made the appeal on Thursday at the 10th convocation ceremony of the Lead City University, Ibadan where 590 students were awarded first degree certificates. The vice president who was the special guest at the ceremony, said, “I was 60 years old in March this year, and I must confess that one of the greatest surprises I ever experienced was that I just suddenly became 60. I can clearly remember when I graduated from the university. I was 21 years old at the time. How time flies. “One of the important lessons that you will learn is that time flies whether you are wasting it or you are using it well. It simply flies back. At the age of 60 years, I am entitled to give some advice. “By talent, a good degree and coming from a very well to do family does...

Image
NIGERIA’S DAVIDO, WIZKID TAKING AFROBEATS TO NEXT LEVEL Pop star Davido gets the same reaction wherever he goes in Africa, whether it’s in Guinea or Mozambique, Botswana, Kenya or Sierra Leone: teeming crowds and adoring fans. The 24-year-old icon is one of the favourites for best artist at this year’s All Africa Music Awards (AFRIMA), which take place in Lagos this weekend. AFRIMA — sponsored by the African Union — are the continent’s equivalent of the American Grammy Awards, with interest reflecting the continent’s rich seam of emerging talent. Davido and his Nigerian compatriot Wizkid, Tanzania’s Diamond Platnumz, Sarkodie of Ghana and Ivory Coast’s DJ Arafat are leading a musical revolution: Afrobeats. The genre was born in Nigeria but has spread across Africa as fast as the rhythm of the bass in a nightclub. “Nigerians knew how to mix all the influences of Afropop: Congolese soukous, Ivorian coupe-decale, Ghanaian Highlife, Jamaican dancehall,” said video jou...
